Dichen was born February 22, 1982 in Kathmandu, Nepal. However, she grew up in Australia and studied at the University of Adelaide. Lachman moved to California to pursue her career in acting. She played for example in Lust for Love, The 100, and Agents of SHIELD. In 2018, Netflix show Altered Carbon skyrocketed her fame.
